Hey Jritchey, if it makes you happy that's all that counts.I also have the cashmere and I think the wood is the way to go. That's why they make all kinds because everybody is different.
No offense Jritchey but I agree with Gman. Every car out there bieng built now has the brushed aluminum look and I just think it's a very cold interior. That was one of my favorite features of the Tahoe. The nice warm leather and wood.

I like both, but prefer the wood as well. Its nice to have options though or to make a new option like Jritchey did.

I thought the factory wood was a little too red for my taste. I spend6 to 8 hours a day in the Tahoe and the the wood didn't suit my eyes so it had to come out. Believe meI wish I did like it. That $400 would have bought me a really nice grille.

All new OEM aluminium/plastic trim. Here is a thread with all the pricing details and part #s. But if I had to order it all again it would not be for GM parts direct. I sent them 5 emails over two weeks and they would not respond until I threatened to cancel the order.I would use JP customs or my dealer if I had to order it again, the $50 I saved wasn't worth dealing with them.
