Default truck radio surfs all by itself

has anyone had a dealer tell you it was something called the HDMI module that causes this to happen. The channels just start changing and if your on a call it drops it ... the dealer said its some kind of module ( I thought he said HDMI) and it would be 1600 to fix. said it was a faulty one, but wouldnt that be a warranty issue but he said no

Dealer is the one who knows when it comes to the electronics. Modules do go bad. My '11 LTZ has 41 modules in it by the way.
