Default Yukon Denali Air Suspension

Is it normal for the rear suspension air compressor to run for about a minute after the vehicle starts? Does it only kick in if air has bled from the system while parked? How can I tell if the system is leaking?

My will run sometimes on startup if I've changed the load after it was shut down. A minute sounds excessive.

Ca-Caw...welcome to wal-mart...ca-Caw

I mean "see your dealer"

Ca-Caw! (think parrot)

A minute does seem long. Mine will run at start up usually a max of 10-20 seconds.

If I hook my boat to it, it will run longer, but never 60 seconds.

If you have no errors / warnings...

Does it only run at start up?

Does it ever run driving or after?

I would think a slow leak would cause it to run more than normal, but not enough to actually break the compressor...

I haven't layed under my Tahoe yet since it's under warranty, but you could cover the bags with soapy water (paint brush) then put key in 'run' (you shouldn't have to start it).

then look for bubbles w/a flash light.

Simple Green is a good leak detector. Just spray it on and a leak will look like the head on a cold draft.
