With the Z71 you get the brushed Alum and two-tone seats BUT you are locked in on the exterior molding etc without A LOT of changes. If you get the LTZ you can more easily make changes that you like about the Z71.

Thanks guys/gals... I was wondering if I was missing something on the Z71. I remember them being soooo much cooler on the last body style. Looks like the LTZ is my choice. Now to find a dealer that is willing to bring in what I want.

One reason I went with the Z was the flairs, will save from door dings the other is our lifestyle mountain biking camping & kyaking bike rack on the roof rack looks O.K. LTZ Black Tie affairs

Will. It doesn't even make sense what you are saying. Won't the fender flairs ding instead? They look horrifying as well.

They are a soft plastic, might scuff but won't leave a ding, it's the same stuff the bumpers are made of.
