05 Autoride Removal, Level/Lift Kit
I drive a 2005 Suburban LT AWD Autoride, its got the RSE and the nav and ect..., anyways the autoride system has been shot for awhile and its come time to do away with it. It sits maybe an inch lower than it should but doesnt bottom out. The front wheels are stock and they rub on the inside when I have the wheel turned and I pull onto the road on a slope. I'm looking at lift/leveling kits because im tired of jacking the car up to go underneath and I want better beach sand clearance.
I'm leaning towards the Rough Country #273N2 kit with some resistors thrown in. I know i have to switch out the coil springs so I was going to use either the ACDelco 45H2165 regular duty or the 45H2164 heavy duty.
Originally I was leaning towards the heavy duty but I have no clue how the car is going to ride when its all done. I do occasionally use the 3rd row and I move heavy stuff in the back a lot, but I'm not much of a tow-er. I don't want sagging when the car is loaded, but I also want it to be comfortable for the 3rd row passengers.
If I go with the regular duty would I be fine with sagging with the new shocks? Does anyone have any experience with the stiffness of the ACDelco heavy duty springs? Can I use the regular duty springs and those Air-Lift spring bags for sagging even with the lift kit?
Are there any more parts I need than that? As you can see I have alot of questions. Thanks so much
