Stiffer suspension with 1" lift
Hey all! I'm posting this on behalf of my Dad. His truck is a 2010 Z74 Silverado.
He does alot of logging/access road driving for work and lately he has noticed the shocks becoming alot more bouncier. The truck literally takes a beating everyday he works, having to drive over numerous water-bars and potholes. Recently he had to take the front lip off as it was catching on some water-bars.
Basically what he wants is a stiffer suspension with a 1" lift to make it easier for getting over the deeper water-bars. He doesn't want some massive lift, as it is also daily driven and hauls a fifth wheel.
I would like to get some suggestions as to what brands and set-ups are dependable that can take that daily beating. I have no idea what to look for, and what brands are good. I have never owned a truck myself, so I'm pretty much in the dark on this one. I know polyurethane stiffens things up quite a bit. Would it be worth it for the spring isolators, endlinks etc?
I figure it's better to ask someone who has used a similar set-up and get their perspective, rather than ask some parts guy who only goes by minimal knowledge and part numbers. Sorry if my post seemed long winded. Thanks!

A 1" levelin kit will work just fine. Usually the 1" kits are placed in between the strut and the lower control arm where it bolts up. Pretty simple install really. And all levelin kits are pretty much the same, an eBay 1" levelin kit will be fine, I myself have a 2.5" kit on my 08 single cab. No problems whatsoever
