Default 1996 Tahoe Headlight issues

The low beams work when started and when the switch is turned to the parking light position, but when I turn switch to headlights position they go off. The high beams will work though. I don't understand?! I replaced the headlamp switch assembly but that did not help. Any ideas?

1996 car and it has daytime running lamps. Also in this year the low beams and high beams dont work together. Have you pulled the turn signal switch toward you? When you push the lever toward the dash it turns on the high beams. You need to pull it toward you in the driver seat to reengage the low beams. Let us know if that works. If not then there are other steps you have to do.
