Question 2004 Chev Surburban 2wd prndl display and ignition switch

I got this vehicle with the problem of it not going into park, well the problem was that the mechanism inside the transmission had come apart. I replaced the at manual shift shaft and reassembled mechanism. That solved the problem of it not going into park. The instrument cluster had other problems. I replaced the lights with led lights and replaced the servos. The prndl display works, but when it's in park the cursor under the letters is not showing at all. When the shifter is in 1st gear, The cursor is under the "2" not "1". I've replaced the neutral safety switch, and ignition switch. Sometimes when the key is in the run position the truck will try to start and stops and then try's to start again and repeats until I turn the key to the start position and then it will actually starts. I don't know if these things are related or not. Please any help would be very much appreciated. Attached are 2 pictures of the prndl display.

I would suspect the neutral safety switch. Was is a AC one? Aftermarket stuff is not reliable. If so it may be out of adj. a little.
