Default 2011 chevy tahoe shakes when braking

Everytime i get off the highway the tahoe starts to shake really bad. Its like the faster i go, the worse it shakes. I have checked all the bearings thinking it could be an issue but they dont seem bad idk maybe im over looking something. I have noticed the the rear wheels do have a small place when i jerk the wheel in and out. Not sure if it is suppose to have a little play.

Welcome to the forum.

Check all the lug nuts all the way around first. If that doesn't solve the problem you may have an out of round tire, out-of-balance tire, or bent wheel.

where do you feel the shake when braking...steering wheel, brake pedal or floor of the vehicle? Do you hear a slight thumping noise when braking and the shake occurs?

Hard to tell but it feels like the rear end. I wil have to take tires to get balanced but no matter how fast i go it does not shake only when breaking. Someone suggested to me it might be a wrapped rotor so im hoping its something like that.

if its shaking when you are not applying the brakes...its not brake related.
