40+ Gallon Fuel Tank on '07+ Burb?
Hi all,
Did a search, nothing popped up, wondering if anyone has had a custom 40+ gallon fuel tank made for a 2007 Suburban? I see them all day long for the pickup trucks, and since the early 2000s the Suburban has lost the 42gallon capacity that it had, and I'm sick of only getting 375 miles out of a tank when I used to get 700+ in my '98. Has anyone slapped a pickup fuel tank (from Transfer Flow or Titan) into the newer '07 body style and done some frame modifications to make it fit?

What might be easier is getting an OEM tank from a 3/4 ton Suburban. I know the frames are different, so it might not be a straight swap, but I have a 39-gallon tank in my '08 Burb.
I know what you mean. My Denali has the 26-gallon tank and I'd swear I can see the needle going down as I drive. Range is terrible.
