Ah interesting, do you have any reference I can look at? Is there something special I should do?
I am wondering if the previous owner who changed some parts did not follow this and now I am having issues...

Here's one I found using Bing for "disc brake break in procedure".

There's many more out there. This resembles what I've seen several times before.
