Identify black wire up driver side pillar ('93 Suburban)
I picked up a '93 Suburban with 318,000 miles on it. Reasonable shape for that many miles - and its going to be a 'to the dump' truck so it doesn't need to be too pretty.
My question is I removed the headliner which involved removing many pieces of trim - along the driver's side front window pillar there are two wires - one I believe is the fee for the lights on the visors (which have had to be removed) but the second is a small black coax cable - which has either broken or was cut and it goes to somewhere under the dash.
Anyone have any idea what that wire is for?
Second question is identifying a black square with a cable-like connector on it attached to the rear window (driver side). The wire connecting to it is more along the lines of rg59 (thicker than the one by the front pillar.
Ideas?

I was thinking the same thing - must not have been stock though - I was thinking of putting a tone on it and see where it takes me :-) The center wire is not solid which leads me more toward a speaker wire. More digging - thanks
