It is all up in working. I used the reverse lights to power the camera so it was not on all the time. Thanks for the help! Got the dealer to program it today and everything works like you said!

I have a question that does not have to do with this topic. I hope someone can help. I broke my cluster on my 07 Tahoe installing radio equipment.. I found a guy on e-bay that sells them and he says that it is a plug and play unit and that I don't need to worry about the mileage. I know that on the older Tahoes the mileage was counted on the computer as well as the cluster. Does anyone know? If so does it have to be programmed by the dealer to work?

so you guys know, to install factory back up camera, you don't have to buy camera module .
I have a fix for it. it cost me only $10 to make it.
and for those who already have a nav radio from factory and want to add a camera. you don't even have to take your nav radio out. it's partialy prewired. You can find that pre wired connector at passenger side kick panel

I install those cameras and Nav Radio for over a dozen GMC/Chevy dealers in So cal. any way it was a little pain in a *** to buy those camera module/connectors/making harnesses, so I did a little tests. basicaly those modules all they do is convert 12V into 6V for camera supply voltage. So I went to one of electronics surrplus store and bought (I was lucky) over 100DC to DC inverters that convert from 12 to 6 volts. and they cost me $10 a piece. I modifyed them a little, and they work fine.I was using them since 07 models came out, no problems so far. I also bought special 4 conductor cable with shield in it and the way it's made, very easy to ran and good quality. next time when I'll install one of those cameras, I'll take some pics for you guys. I also have brown connectors and pins(original GM made) for rear view camera and VSS that plugs into the radio. paid $12 for it . I can share some of those as well.
