Default Rear window defroster on 2008 Suburban

Like many Suburbans, I have the usual defroster grid that goes across the rear window. On both sides there are coiled wires that clip to a tab on the window grid. One of the wires has pulled the tab off the window grid. Can this issue be repaired using an epoxy that possibly allows for current to flow through it? Or, is there a process that the tab can be soldered back to the grid without cracking the window due to extreme heat on the glass?

both methods work. the epoxy kits are easier to use and there is less danger of breaking the glass. get the proper kit and follow the instruction to the letter.
