Default auto door lock disable

The option to disable the Autolock feature is no longer (since 2005) in the user menu within the DIC however the dealer can reprogram your vehicles BCM via Tis2Web so that the option to turn off Autolock (use the locks manually) is present upon the owners request.

Have your dealer reference Document #1985807 for instructions.

Via ZX, again. thanks ZX

PROBLEM:
I am having an issue with the front passenger seatbelt warning indicator not turning off when the seatbelt is latched. I do not get any audible warnings if the belt is latched, only the visual warning in the overhead console does not turn off. If you unlatch and relatch the seatbelt a few times, it finally turns off.

SOLUTION:
If your Tahoe is a 2007 model then have the dealer update the SDM calibration. They can reference GM Document ID #1847212 for details.

Not the best palce to discuss this but it would be a monumental task and very expensive. Not practical at all.

ORIGINAL: tahoe07

No or limited display on radio after start up:

Does anyone have this problem? I turn on my tahoe and the clock does not appear.
Another thing I noticed is if I turn on the Tahoe with the remote starter, turn off the Tahoe then turn it back on with the key the XM, CD, Clock and AUX do not show up.

The clock will not appear up until that radio has acquired a "GPS" signal which can take a couple of minutes after start-up.

The other two issues are addressed in a TIS software calibration (part # 15260985) update that your dealer can download into your unit under warranty.
I had this problem with my clock... when I just went in on my last service then ended up replacing the full unit and now it seems to be working fine...

I believe they are covered under original warranty and depending on the extended warranty verbage, probably there also.
