Default transfer case difference.

I own a Half ton 2008 Suburban 4 wheel drive with a rotary dial switch and a 4L60e 4 speed transmission. According to the RPO code (NQH) provided to me by a Chevy dealership the transfer case I have in my Suburban is a MP 3023/3024. Is this the designation for one transfer case? Or, does it signify that my Suburban could have a MP 3023 or MP 3024 transfer case? If the later question, is there a difference between the two as far as input and out put splines on the shafts that mesh with the transmission and driveshafts? Having a tough time getting a picture of the bar code label on the top of the transfer case. So, at this time I can't figure out the exact type of transfer case I have in the Suburban.

Suburban 1500 got the 3023
Suburban 2500 got the 3024

They have a different number of splines and are not interchangeable.
Hope that helps.

Just that little bit of information was of great help. I was able to confidently buy a MP3023 with only 30,000 miles on it out of a 2013 Avalanche for $400. Now to do the swap and eliminate the constant whine. Thanks again Suburban Dude.
