03 tracker 2.5 v6 intermittent start/stall problem
Hey guys, new here. Got a old Chevy tracker that has had a issue over the past few months I can't figure out.
First start of day fires right up quickly, drive around 15-20 minutes ,shut car off for any amount of time . Engine fires then dies, try to start again fires right up. Now it doesn't do it Everytime I shut car off just intermittently.
Also recently I can be driving down the highway, and I can feel the engine shutter, then regains power. It's almost like it's stumbling on it's face sometimes. But always regains power. It also doesn't do this all the time. Just on occasion.
Then yesterday at a stop light it died all together, put in park ,fired right back up and off I went.
So today tested fuel pressure at fuel filter line,. Key on once 10psi,key on twice 38 psi holding.
Started car 38 psi while running and with any throttle.
The fuel pressure regulator seems good , no fuel coming from line .
Also wanted to add, car has plenty of throttle response and is peppy like it should be when it's running right.
Any help is appreciated!
