Default 2000 tracker 2.0L auto trans filter

Hi, anyone ever change the auto trans filter, what did you think, was the filter dirty. My tracker has 85,000 miles.
So far i have only changed the dexron vi auto trans fluid,
i will change it every 2 years for awhile, not sure if i will
change the filter. I am retired, keep the tracker in my garage,
fixing it up, it is a fun car to have around.

Default Won't hurt

I did a real seal on my 2.0 engine. While tranny out, I changed filter. A few tiny particles on magnet. Typical thin tacky black sludge like deposits on lower part of filter. Probably did not need changing. If your tracker was well cared for you may be OK ot changing filter. Mine just clicked 100,000 miles. I drive mine daily and my 2010 Silverado sits in the garage,

Good Luck.
Doug
