Default 2002 chevy tracker wont start, turn key an a double click sound.

Looking for starter relay location please any help would be greatly appreciated cant seem to find it online anywhere

There is no starter relay.

me too same issue, cleaned all grounds, bench tested starter seems fine, looks new. frustrating, not siezed, battery brand new, If the starter is clicking, it cant be the fuse? can it.

There is no starter relay -- only the starter solenoid. Just because the starter motor spins on the bench does not mean it can drawn enough current to turn your engine over. If the contacts inside the solenoid are burned or pitted they may present too much resistance to pass the required current.


The starting current for my V6 Tracker is over 500 amps.


I had the solenoid replaced at my local starter and generator shop. Been working great ever since.
