Default 2003 Tracker LT v6 2.5L; Got several questions

Background: As listed above I have a 03 Tracker LT V6 she is one of the hard top variants with a fancier trim package ( well half of one ) I got this car back in 2019 down in Georgia. It had 130k miles on it and was in amazing condition to my untrained eyes. Since getting the car I have had to replace the power steering pump 3 times, the alternator 1 time, the serpentine belts 4 times (2nd power steering pump had a bad pully that was damaging the belt.) The tracker now has just about reached 200k miles on it, and for a car that has been living in Maine for 5 years it's body is still in great condition just have several things needing to be addressed so I don't loose this car. I can not afford a new car in todays climate let alone a used truck with 4x4 (I'm from down south and suck at driving in the snow and 4x4 helps a ton). So I am looking for the cheapest fixes and to do a lot of the labor on my own. ANY and all advice regarding these issues is welcomed and greatly appreciated. I love this dang car and I want it to last another 100k before she gives up the ghost on me. I have like zero car mechanical experience. I can change a tire, oil / oil filter, and do spark plugs that's about it, I am more of a electronics guy I can tear down a laptop or most computer parts and repair them, however never really had the chance to get taught how to work on cars.. but I'm not afraid to learn or get dirty to do so.

Okay Issues:

Valve cover oil leak: (has gotten worse any guides on how to fix/replace and find replacement gaskets)

Power steering pump leak: There is a fitting I need to replace. So the reservoir is good, hose connection to the end good, hose leads to [metal fitting] and connects good, the [metal fitting] that attaches the hose to the power steering pump leaks, I replaced the o-ring when I replaced the power steering pump. The old pump only died because this [metal fitting] leaks. Upon close examination of the fitting during the replacement of the pump it looks as if it was damaged and shoddly welded back together. Am seeking a link to purchase one of these fittings if there is somewhere out there I can buy one. Please let me know I really need to stop having power steering pumps die and waste 100s on fluid. I have attempted to find a listing myself but with no luck.

Window issue: I have that issue where the window slides forward when going up and gets jammed. I have found that posting of the manufacture listing, I don't really understand what it mean to remove the weather stripping, am I replacing that entire soft rubber potion at the top of the door / where window goes into the door?

4wd light blinking: When placing my tracker into 4wd the green light comes on and then starts blinking randomly I have tried to look up the reason for this assuming it is bad (only use 4wd when needed in winter in Maine U.S.)
4wd Cont. : When making turns while in 4wd front end making loud clicking noise is that normal? is the car not supposed to turn that far while in 4wd? or is something worn out / bad and I need to replace?

Rear Diff making clicking noise: On a scale of 1 to 10 how bad is that? is there anything I need to specifically know?

Things I am hunting for, for cheap: left side fuse cover ( the green one), Oil dipstick that doesn't have the grip ring broken on it, the plastic fitting for the hood prop so it will stay mounted at the base to the car (most immediate "small replacements" I'd like to get)
Modification I am wanting to implement this winter asap: I would love to find out how to install a remote start to the tracker so I can start it when I wake up these cold mornings when its -4 outside, IF someone knows of a compatible kit please link it for me to check out also if someone has access to the wiring diagrams for the ignition system that would be amazingly helpful to install said remote start.

I will post pictures if requested of my old beat up girl, her name is bandit because of the replacement front grill lol

Thank you reading my post and pointing me in the right direction guys. I will probably have more questions down the road so I hope to learn a lot from everyone here!

Dear Duo,

I have a 2.5L V6 Tracker LT I bought new in 2001. I'm not a mechanic but I've learned a lot about my car in the last 25 years. I will try to address each of your concerns one-at-a-time but keep in mind all my answers are based on the 2001 model year because that's what I have documentation for.

>> I have like zero car mechanical experience.
The first thing you need to realize is that under that Chevy badge is a Suzuki Grand Vitara. Getting parts from Chevy has been nearly impossible since Suzuki declared bankruptcy in 2013. You'll find most consumable parts at RockAuto.com. Dealer parts are sometimes available through megazip.net or partsouq.com. Some parts are ebay or junkyard only. Assuming replacement parts are available you only need three things to complete any repair:
1. proper documentation
2. the correct tools
3. patience

>>
Valve cover oil leak:
The gaskets are available from RockAuto, but the intake manifold has to come off so order those gaskets as well.

>>
Power steering pump leak: There is a fitting I need to replace.
Post a picture. Circle the part you want.

>>
Window issue: I don't really understand what it mean to remove the weather stripping
Weather stripping is the "furry" lining of the vertical channels the glass slides in. My car does that too. I hold one hand on the glass when I raise the window.

>>
4wd light blinking:
That means you have an air leak: either in the 4WD pump or in the front differential.

>>
When making turns while in 4wd front end making loud clicking noise
Clicking noises are usually CV joints going bad.

>>
left side fuse cover ( the green one)
Google this part number: 37640-65D00

>>Oil dipstick:
Google this part number: 16910-85F12

>>
the plastic fitting for the hood prop
I have four brand new ones. I'll sell you one.

>> love to find out how to install a remote start
can't help with that

<< if someone has access to the wiring diagrams for the ignition system
I can help with that.

First thing is to enroll in Grand Vitara forum. https://www.suzuki-forums.com/forums...nd-vitara.211/
Second thing is to download "Service Manual SQ416SC420SQ625" 1 of 2 and 2 of 2. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/cvr...ervice_Manuals

Your Tracker is the SQ625 and your engine is H25a
