Unfortunately your reply (above) did not show up in this thread -- only in the email saying you had made a new post.

What's going on here ? . I have received several notices of replies and made comments, none are showing up .

Yes, my 2000 year model is a 4 door .

I got up with the sun this morning and continued on the rear cargo area, I now have two cargo mats and was scrubbing the devil out of the second one, then I re installed the rear seat belts I'd carefully cleaned and the replacement rear 1/4 interior panel, I have no idea what happened to it but it was d=broken as well as filthy, bit by bit it's coming along .

This is the latest junkyard carpet as purchased :

Auto salvage yard. Your only hope.
Been there. Done that.
Four bolts holding the front seats in. The carpet just pulls out from the center console…gently. It’s not hard. Just time consuming.
The hard part is finding a nice Chevy/Suzuki without holes in the carpet. You can get the dirt out.
It’s the Holy Grail of parts Good luck.

Thank you ! .

I know it's the holy grail, one of two, I managed to find the other recently : a nice driver's seat, no holes ans good foam =8-) .

I have found several local regular junkyards with clean looking Trackers but they don't seem to want to sell the carpets oit of them, I wonder why not as surely no one else will even come asking .

I hope I can now make posts, I tried as I've been cleaning the beegeebers out of this old thing .

I also replaced the driver’s seat…with a passenger seat. Naturally less wear & tear on the springs and foam than a driver’s seat…and the same part number (without an arm rest).
Another thing you could consider is replacing SECTIONS of the carpet. Hide the seams under the seats. I’ve done that too.
Good luck.
