The picture you posted is the 4WD air pump.
It should be bolted to the frame behind the grill near the passenger headlight.
there is no way mine is hooked up hose just laying there going nowhere and wiring is all kinda jacked up i may have bought a mess from what i have been finding so far
If the front differential is intact, a DIYer with some disposable cash can get the air pump working.
Attach a clean length of air line to the bottom of the differential and blow into it. If there is no resistance to
air flow the internal diaphram is ruptured and that could be expensive to repair. If pressure builds quickly there
is a good chance the front diff is still operational. The air pump can be repaired or replaced.

I’ll definitely try that once it warms back up enough to fool with it again
