98 tracker gas tank
Looking for info on replacing my gas tank on a 1998 4dr chevy tracker. I'm getting a code for a loose gas cap, however I do smell gas from the gas tank area after I fill-up.

Could be a bad fuel pump seal, bad hose or seomthingis loose.Put some petroleum jelly on the cap seal. Might be you wont need a new gas tank
