Default Cabin air filter

The cabin air filters will not fit. The filters are located forward of the glove box. I have a 2002 2 door 4x4 Chevy tracker and there was not any filters in the filter compartment. I purchased new ones and they will not fit. About 1/8” too long. I had this same problem with a 2003 4 door 4x4 Chevy tracker. Why??

The foam filter seal goes towards the driver (on left-hand drive cars).

It’s a little tricky. But look closely on the filters, there are directional arrows.
When you get them installed correctly, they FIT. (bonus)
