Can't keep soft top attached
We have a 2001 2 door with a soft top. My wife loves driving with the windows open and the front top folded back. Almost every time some part of the back soft top comes unattached. Am I doing something wrong or is that just the nature of these soft tops? I was wondering if it would help to remove a rear window to allow some of the air to escape and reduce the pressure on the top? Any imput would be appreciated.

Personally, when I want to let the sunshine in, I open the forward top and unzip the rear window. But I just fold the rear window inward rather than remove it.
Give that a try and see if things still come apart.
Good luck. 👍

I found that the plastic hook that is sewn to a vinyl strap next to the rear window had the strap torn and was barely attached. I sewed the hook back to a new piece of webbing and all is good with the top. It has stayed on for several weeks. Problem solved.
