Default Crankshaft position wsensor A circuit

I have a 2003 4wd Tracker. 4 cylinder.
The crankshaft position sensor a circuit code came up. Does the tranny need to be pulled to fix this? If so is it bad to drive it like it is?
Appreciate any input.
Also the heater control low circuit ( bank 1 sensor 1) code came up

The bad news: the tranny must be removed for access to CKP sensor.

The good news: the CKP sensor has no effect on engine performance. Its sole purpose is to detect engine misfires.

I hope I'm replying to your answer. Lol
