Horn swap
I'm considering changing the horn in the Tracker to something louder than what it currently has (because it's an incredibly weak horn). I was looking at something like the 90's Park Avenue for it, but I've never done a horn change before and have no idea if it's simply replacing one part or if more needs to be done.
Thanks for any advice!

Car horns work on the 12 volt DC system, so it's simply mounting it and wiring up two wires, black/ negative and red/positive, right off the wires that went to the old horn. This unit looks pretty easy to install and is compact, so I chose it for an example. The stock horns are not very loud on most modern light vehicles including pickups/SUV's.
That said, as a professional driver and semi-professional mechanic, I rarely use the horn, even in a semi-truck. They can cause accidents, if used improperly. The kids in their parents cars always use the "tug-the-horn" gesture for we drivers to blow the air-horn, but I will only do so if it's in very light traffic, else its not very wise to do so.
There is no reason at all that you could not mount the horn from a Chrysler Park Ave into any 12 volt, negative ground vehicle. Simply bolt, wire and you are good to go.
