How to replace v belt?
Hi treeboom,
Welcome to the Chevy Forums.
Generally speaking, the alternator is on a slide bracket.
Loosen the bracket, slide the alt inwards, change the belt,
then re-tension the alternator, and secure the bolt at the slide
first, then the pivot bolt. UNLESS the system has a tensioner
pulley, which is spring loaded, in which case, you merely de-tension
the tensioner pulley, replace the belt, and release the tensioner.
Check the thread search for Tracker. And remember, Google is your friend.

I figured it out. It was small flat belt crank to fan. 3 - 14mm headed bolts. Loosen upper and lower bolt middle is a pivot for wrench to tension belt after replacing. Note fan must come off but that is how I started my thread because I had fan off and did not know how to proceed.
