Default Need Help fast please...

have a 1999 Tracker. Seal is leaking on the drivers side axle. How the heck do you remove the axle on these things. There is no Diff cover on this model.

you have to take the tire off, the brakes, the wheel bearing, the control arm, and a little bit more stuff but when you get to the axle, yank it off with a swift hit, pull or whatever. Its not bolted in or nothing that I know of. Its just in there and you like "snap" it out with a fast motion. New one goes in the same way. Tap it in with rubber mallet, wooden block or something like that. Thats how I learned to do it, hopefully that helps you some.

Are you asking about the front or the rear axle?
