Default Need help finding thermostat housing.

Was changing thermostat in a 2002 ZR2 2.5l 4wd and the housing cracked. Can not find another anywhere. Suggestions? Also I was changing the thermostat because there’s no coolant going into the radiator from the overflow, anybody have this issue?

I'm not familiar with a 4.5L Tracker engine. If you meant 2.5L this might help.

The radiator cap is what allows the fluid to be pulled out of the overflow reservoir. I would change that first.

Default Thanks

Sorry, Icorrected my post, 2.5l. And we did change the cap, that didnt fix the issue. Even if it did the housing is still cracked 😕 The link above is not the correct line up. My housing only has 2 bolt holes, not 3.

Use the link above to order a new housing. Replace the hose from the reservoir to the radiator. If it's cracked it may be sucking air instead of coolant.

The thermostat is on lower hose port.

You are absolutely right. I don't know where I got that picture from. This diagram is from a Suzuki parts catalog.
