Default Newbie Here, LSPV anyone?

Hi Everyone, Newbie here. I recently bought a 2000 Tracker two door convertible with 4wd, 1.6L and auto trans for my wife to chug around town with. It runs great but the body is rusting out (I live in New York). But anyway, in the snow I've found out that the rear brakes are not working. So I've deduced that the load sensing proportioning valve is inoperable. So does anyone have one of these laying around that I could buy? They're rare nowadays because no one drives Trackers anymore, they're not even in junkyards anymore either.

Welcome from Florida. Did you try Suzuki, to see if they have one? There are also universal valves available that might work. Check the specs of the one attached to see if it might work.

Go to megazip.net to find the Suzuki Grand Vitara part number. I think it will be 51930-65D10. Then search ebay.

Hi Everyone, thanks for the replies. Old Chevy, I looked at the link you'd sent and I've decided that I'm going to go with an OEM part, to eliminate any future braking problems that may arise. L84sky, I looked at the link you'd sent and it's similar, but it doesn't look like the mounting holes will line up.
In the meantime, I'm looking on the local marketplace, where lots of people have Trackers they are parting out. There's also a convertible one in a junkyard about 1 1/2 hours away I might crawl under and see if the valve is there. It won't be fun though, since the temperature was -15 degrees here yesterday, but at least today it warmed up to +1 degree.
