Default noob bought a tracker

Hey, guys,
Not really a noob, this is my third suzuki, my fourth 4x4, and my fifth GM. But my first post here so I guess I'm a noob.
I just bought a 2001 Tracker LT 4x4 V6 with 144000 miles for $1400. Too bad it caught fire on the way home.

I am super glad I had a foam fire extinguisher. My buddy and I got it running again after four hours work. Now it looks like all I need to do is patch the radiator and I'm off to the races. I still think I got a good (OMG) deal, especially since wrenching on your own time is fun time.

I'm 41 and I wanted one of these suzuki/chevys since I was in high school. That I scored one with all the awesomeness for so cheap is complete icing on the cake. And it's my birthday. (Thank you to my wife. Sorry you had to wait an hour by the side of the interstate for the tow truck)

I'm thinking three inches of lift, BFG KO all terrains, (There's a LOT of sand in Hawaii) and a pine air freshener and I'm Good To Go.

Anyone know how to patch a four inch crack in a plastic radiator tank?

Buy a new radiator. Patches don't hold for long. Why did it catch on fire?

It threw the fanbelt while on a busy interstate viaduct and i had to get to the emergency pulloff. I made it but not after bursting my radiator top tank. The engine grime is all that burned, i got it put out fast.
