This compact SUV proved itself to be a fine ecnomical vehicle, good for making its way along any type of surface. Platform: CAMI (Suzuki)
As a computer tech in the 70&80’s thought chasing a code PO328 knock sensor would be easy, but after ordering some cheap parts from Amazon I started checking for continuity and knock output, having found what I believed a good one. I cleared the code and for 3 days all was good, then came back. When I clear the code it returns immediately . I have visually looked for chewed wires, loose connections. Replaced spark plugs, Filled gas with 92 octane,no help. Tightened as many grounds as I could find, didn’t see braded engine ground. I can’t hear any pinging or knocking noise but I wear hearing aides. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks . Jack
I'm assuming you have the 2L inline four because my V6 does not have a knock sensor. All I can offer is the troubleshooting flowchart for the P0328 DTC in the factory service manual.
