Default Position for jacking the front end

I want to jack up the front of my 2001 Tracker (both wheels off the ground) with a floor jack and need to know the best structure under which I can place the jack so I can get the jack stands into the correct position on either side. I used the differential housing to lift the rear end but the front diff is off-center, aluminum and obviously not an appropriate location. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks so much. Life would be so much easier with the service manual handy.
