We have a 2003 Chevrolet Tracker with 2.0 Automatic. The engine is seized. We have found a 2003 tracker for parts that has the 2.0 but with a manual transmission. Will the engine with the manual transmission work with our automatic transmission? Will we need any adapter plates or anything?

 

The manual transmission donor engine will have a flywheel bolted the the crankshaft. Your automatic transmission engine will have a flex plate bolted to the crank.
