Default Question On Replacing Stock Tracker Motor

Hello this is my first 4x4 engine swap and I am a little curious on what kind of problems/special tools i will need and run into...
the car is a 1998 tracker softtop 4x4 with a 1.6l sohc, i have done 20+ swaps in fwd cars (civic, accord, camry) generally imports butmy momneeds a car for the winter and offered the swap to me and im always up for something new. Ive searched breifly but figured this would be the best way to get my questions answered. Is this gunna be something i can do in my garage without a lift? any special tech. that you have aquired through experence that will help? Im just a little worried on the whole awd thing.I have a general selection of tools mostly metric is this what i will need or are the bolts standard? Thanks in advance Mitch
