My son turned the key to turn off the truck. He heard a snap and now the key turns more than 90 degrees. It doesn’t engage the ignition. My mechanic relaxed the lock cylinder and the same thing happens. He says he needs to take the steering column apart. Any diagnosis to identify the part that he needs to replace would be helpful.
