I keep getting a SERVICE ONSTAR message on my dashboard and the light on the rear view mirror turns from green to red for the onstar function. This continues off and on the entire time the truck is running. Any idea on how to fix this issue?

transition to digital is going on.

If you haven't already purchased the digital upgrade for your vehicle, you have 2 options. Buy the digital upgrade. GM was paying for the parts, you just had to buy 1yr subscription. I am unsure if GM is still paying for parts. The other option is to have your dealership disable the OnStar system (which GM is currently paying for). If you don't want to bring it to the dealership, and have an analog system, just pull all the conectors from the VCIM which is under the RR seat and that will disable the system
