Default 05 TB no power, limited shifts, black smoke

I have a 05 Trailblazer with 110,000 miles. It has a engine code for one of the banks running lean. That is the only code. It has no power and acts like a car running out of fuel pressure.

You can accelerate and it winds out the gear and wont shift unless you let up on it. The black smoke rolls out of it at that point. You then start pressing the gas down again to slowly accelerate and it downshifts again and starts blowing the black smoke out. It acts like a car running out of gas.

I done a tune-up on it with new plugs and still, nothing changed. Has anyone else had something similiar happen?

Change your fuel filter and check the fuel pressure.

is the fuel filter made into the fuel pump? Do I buy the whole assembly? Could it still be something like the fuel filter even if its blowing black smoke?
