my 05 trailblazer is stuck in park. what is the problem?? please help husband is deployed and wondering if its going to cost me and arm and leg to repair

 

please let us know if your battery is dead.
Could be the solenoid in the shifter has malfunctioned.
If im not mistaken- the manual also has a procedure on getting the vehicle out of PARK in case the battery has failed.

in case the battery has not failed---
You may be able to shift it into neutral- and start the vehicle from there....
at least youll be able to drive it.
If you follow the procedure in the manual and still cant shift it-- then its probably related to some damaged linkage...

 

If you're parked on an incline without the parking brake on you migth have to push on the car to relief pressure on the trans

 

she never came back....

 

Already check ground fuse relay box good, install a new swicth !!!! What can it be! Please help me! Fuel pump is good
