Default 07 brake or abs staying on?

Excessive throttle required to move forward after stopped. Took approx half throttle to go 5mph to get thru intersection and into parking lot. experienced a hot smell.

Turned off the trailblazer, went into grocery store for a few items. Started vehicle and it worked normal for the commute home.

only the tire pressure light was on, and right front was down to 25lbs. Husband filled both front tires last weekend because light was on and tires were down.

Never apply emgency brake, we live in northern MI and constantly have to inflate tires.

If I back up and aggressively apply brakes right front tire locks up and skids. Does not do it going forward?

Any thoughts or fix for the vehicle not wanting to move forward from stop sign?
Thanks

if a brake caliper was seized or if the pads are seized in the caliper brackets, the brakes will drag. after driving with this condition you would smell the brake pad burning and the wheel with the problem would be much hotter than all the others.

the low tire pressure is a completely different concern. the tires need to be leak checked, cleaned and resealed.

you live in a rust belt; your brake caliper pins and brackets must be cleaned and lubricated yearly.

If you have aluminum rims, the bead seat is probably corroded and air is leaking past the tire and rim in this area.

Default 07 ebcm

Thanks tech2 for the response. Yes we are in the northern part of the rust belt. I change fuel filter and clean up the sliding calipers twice a year. Once before winter and again after winter.

Found some stored codes in abs history-no active codes.
Took to dealer and reprogram ebcm due to code matching that on a bulletin dated 2008. Due to an anomally?

Dealer charged an hour even though we have extended warranty. Seems to have eliminated the problem.

As for the aluminum wheels, we had the same problem on our 04 Avalanche, 06 Yukon XL, however the Trailblazer is terrible.

As soon as replacements are acquired the Trailblazer wheels will go off to the powder coater.

Do like the GM vehicles too bad we can't get a rust belt option when buying new. Would be worth the extra money to get seam sealer in the appropriate places along with bigger drain vents in the doors and rockers, no exterior body moldings, and delete the spare tire under the chasis.
Thanks for reading.
