2002 trailblazer. the keys are stuck in the ignition and nothing turns on
i have a 2002 trailblazer. the keys are stuck in the ignition and it will not turn on. i'm pretty sure it's an anti-theft issue.
what i did was i used the remote to unlock the vehicle as i was walking up to it (lights worked fine and horn beeped two short times). i opened the door and got in. closed the door, but not hard enough....put the key in the ignition (didn't turn it on right away)...opened and closed the door harder (sound went off when i had the door open indicating that i had the keys in the ignition). after i closed the door, i tried turning the vehicle on and there was nothing. couldn't take the keys out. also noticed that the automatic locks didn't work and the button to adjust the seat didn't work..no lights or anything. the remote wouldn't lock or unlock the doors either..
any questions or thoughts?
i also called the # in the manual and they had no idea
