2002 Trailblazer Questions
I recently purchased a very clean 2002 Trailblazer with 94,000 original miles for my wife. I have a couple of questions.
1. We live in a very rural area, and there are few to no streetlights. My wife drives a lot at night. I replaced the factory headlight bulbs with quality LED bulbs. What I ajm wondering is this. Does anyone know a way to re-wire the factory headlights so that when the high beams are on, all four headlights would be lit, instead of just the inside pair?
2. When I start it, it goes to fast idle until the engine warms up slightly. When the rpm's drop down to idle, the engine is making a tapping sound. Like maybe the lifters or rockers. It sounds like it is coming from the top end of the engine. Is a valve adjustment in order? This is the 4.2L straight six.
3. Does anyone know of a leveling kit for the front end? It sits dumped in the nose, and I would like it to sit as level as possible,
Anyways, new guy here hoping for a little guidance from those who know their way around the Trailblazer., Thanks in advance for any information forthcoming. I look forward to reading more about this truck.
