2003 TB with 4 wheel drive. The transfer case will automatically switch from 4x2 to 4x4h and tries to go into 4x4L (at highway speed). This actually happen a couple of weeks ago and ruined the front differential. After fixing the front differential I noticed that it is still trying to shift itself into 4x4, (with the selector position being in 2 wheel drive mode). Is this caused by a faulty TCCM or a faulty switch/sensor??

 

Can't anyone help me? Has anybody had similar issues? Any help tips on diagnosis or parts/components that needind repair/replace or reprogrammed?? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you and Merry Christmas

 

I am having a similar thing happen. I was driving on the highway about 55mph and my tb felt odd so I looked at gauges and the 4x4 switch was set in 2lo but the 4x4 high was light and the 4x4 lo was flashing this has happened 2 times in a month. Of course no warranty on it, not sure what is causing it.
