Thumbs up 03 Trailblazer low beams intermittent

Have an 03 Trailblazer EXT V8, Low Beams intermittent and then wouldn't come on. Thanks to this thread, swapped HDM module 46 in the under hood fuse/relay center and they are working fine. I'll be stopping by my friendly Chevy dealer for a new module on Monday. HEY you may not need to go to Chevy - see my next post below

Default Found Relay - let there be light

After going to Advanced Auto for the original part 15016745 for an 03 TB EXT, they showed it in their computer however didn't stock or couldn't get it. Went to Autozone, they had it as part no 20601, it was $39.99 by Duralast and it is lifetime waranteed which was a nice touch. I now just need to remember where to put the receipt! Hope this helps shed some light on the situation for the next person.

OMG! You guys are life savers (and money savers too!)! My low beams have been giving me trouble for some time now on my 2003 Trailblazer and last night was the first time ever I couldn't get them to come on at all (except for my high beams =-(). I googled my problem and found this forum and tried the relay switch and it totally worked! Saved me hundreds of dollars in repair cost! Thank you guys so much, I'm coming to this website from now on for all my Trailblazer questions!

My headlights just went out on me today at the same time I put on the cruise control. Extremely risky when in the middle of nowhere with no street lights. My high beams and a flood lights worked, but no low beams. The low beams eventually came back after I stopped and restarted. I'll try replacing the relay hoping this is the cause and that the occurrence at the same time as turning on my cruise control was just a coincidence.

Question My low beam headlamps both went out at the same time

Today is March 26, 2012. I am sitting here at 6 am in the morning and i have not had any rest thinking about my low beam head lamps that have gone out on my trail blazer (06). I need to to renew my plates on this coming Friday but can not pass inspection. I am going to go today and try replacing the HDM relay switch and come back and let you know if my outcome is as successful as those of the ones i have read here.
