Question 2004 Trailblazer dash and radio lights not turning off

Hi we bought a 2004 trailblazer a few months ago, we noticed the last few days the battery is being drained by the dash and radio lights not turning off when you turn the key off, the dash lites have a sensor that autos the dash lite on when its dark, anyone have any suggestions as to where to start looking to figure this out?

Thanks in Advance

no they stayed on and drain the battery, did this for a few days, went out last night to check it was on so opened door and closed it then it finally stared to turn off after a few mins, inter lites worked as shound, doors locked as should, just dash lite and radio lites were staying on.

Did you ever get this figured out? Mine is doing the same thing and I was thinking it might be the ignition switch. Only mine stay on even after 10 minutes. I manually turned off the radio and dimmed the dash lights all the way down hoping it won't drain the battery over night
