Default 2004 Trailblazer dying in hot weather

I have a 2004 Trailblazer LS Ext with 189,000 miles. Runs great, but is dying in very hot weather when the engine get's warm and won't restart. If I let it sit for 15 - 20 minutes it will start again but dies again once it's warm. Most recent time occured when I was very low in gas, but even after I filled it back up it happened again. Has happened on several occassions now on hot days. Mechanics have looked at but haven't been able to get it to die on them. Any suggestions?
