Default 2005 chevy trailblazer roaring sound
2005 chevy trailblazer (click for video)

I have been everywhere and I can't seem to find a diagnosis for my issue. Only thing I can describe it as is its like a roaring sound.

I had a 2003 Trailblazer that did something similar. Turned out to be the cooling fan clutch.

Greg - I had the same thing happen years ago. The radiator fan clutch had failed. 12 years after replacement, it hasn't happened again.

Fan clutch stuck full on . If this is the case you will also see your mileage go down the toilet . Replace fan clutch .

My fan clutch was replaced under warranty and then a few months later the fan relay melted in the fuse box and ruined the fuse box.
