It's stuck partially open in the vent position and I need to get it shut. I saw repair kits online, but it is a major ordeal to work on it. I thought about cutting the small rods that seem to pull it open and closed, but I'm asking first. What is the trick to just get it closed? I wasn't fond of it when I bought the truck, and I don't care if it never opens again. Thanks.
