Another rear end question
- Whats up everyone, I'm new hear and had a few questions that I was hoping to get answeres for, or opinions. I have a 2005 tb with the g80 rear end. During winter snow storm I noticed the locker wasent unlocking so I removed the rear cover and noticed I had a broken cam plate or cam gear, in the differential carrier. So my questions are, I have a friend with an 04 tb withought the g80 and he will give me the entire truck for parts for free. Will his rear fit in my truck as a direct replacment?or should I have my carrier rebuilt, or buy a replacment one. I tryed googling my options in the forums but couldent find an exact answer for my questions. So sorry for posting another rear-end topic. And thanks for any input.
